Section D, as well as the whole scene modeling is nearing it's end. This will probably be the last modeling WIP I'm submiting.

14.04.2005 (19:24, GMT+1)
Section C almost finished (some minor details missing but I'll get to them later). At this point I would estimate that the scene is about 80% done as far as modeling goes. Still missing Section D but that will not need as much work as sections A and B. At this point my triangle counter reads: 911948 (on 1234 objects). Are you bored yet?

Behold... the SG-16 Mushroom... and other than that there are some new elements in the scene. Some might wonder why are those guns aimed towards the station and not in the opposite direction - it's a part of Project 02s script, so yeah... I actually know where I'm going with this ;)

Whew... you can sure tell that March was rather unproductive for me as far as Project02 goes - I'm hoping to change that in April. Latest uptate after a couple of hours of work

I managed to do some work on that scene today and here is what it looks like now. I even made some first attempts at lighting (section B only, section A still has only one point light). The floating objects are just parts I duplicate frequently and I like to keep them close by so please ignore them.

Two days of work and here is how the scene looks now. I decided to move it to another deviation.

28.02.2005 (00:29, GMT+1)
Whew... that was a long day :) I'm quite happy how the scene turns out so far... the polycount is my only worry. If this keeps up I'll end up with +1.000.000 triangles.... (look at the scene layout) - what you can see now (nevermind the details) is only 1/4-1/3 of the whole scene.

Initial entry:
After a long break (partially caused by my app switch) I'm submitting a WIP of the next Project02 scene. Not much done yet, I'll update this deviation as the work progresses to avoid messing up my gallery with unnecessary crap ;)

-> WIP 02:
- made a whole lot of things on the left side as you can see
- please ignore the hanging object ;)

-> WIP 01:
- everything
- I put a human model there so I's easier to see the scale of the scene

Those renders look badass! I love the details. Now get some texture on those mofo's! :D

What program did you use?
:iconlegato895:
ooh, also, just noticed those security doors.

i think they should be grooved on the inside, so when they do shut, they have an interlocking core that further prevents/air/pathogens from breaking through/out... kinda hard to say what i mean :D

right now all the doors come together flush, it might be cool (and certainly practical) to have an inner groove that interlocks with the other segments :P

It's going to be a pain to texture all of that not to mention rendering it later ;)
